The molecule is the same as Zepbound, so the labelled schedule below is the reference either way. What is not the same is the vial: compounded preparations are not standardised, and the concentration is set by the pharmacy that made yours rather than by a manufacturer's specification. Two vials of "compounded tirzepatide" can require completely different marks on the syringe for an identical dose.

The practical consequence is that a dose in milligrams travels between vials and a dose in units does not. If anyone gives you a units figure — a prescriber, a forum, a previous vial's instructions — it is only meaningful next to the concentration it was calculated for. Recheck it against the number printed on the vial in your hand every time that vial changes.

- 25.0 units on a U-100 syringe. The arithmetic is (dose ÷ concentration) × 100, and it only holds if the concentration on your vial matches.
